Come see us this weekend. We are open normal hours.
Come see us this weekend. We are open normal hours.
Pictures from our riders are a great way for us to keep up with all the fun you guys had at MMP so far this year. We are always looking for great shots to share on our website, post with our blogs, or add to our newsletter. Post your pictures to our Facebook page or tag us in your albums – we love to see some awesome MMP action!
Another reason we love to get pictures from our riders is because most of the time, you have a different perspective from the MMP team. Yes, we are out on the trails often, but you guys are the real trail warriors so to speak. Our long-time riders know the trails almost as well (if not better) than our team here at MMP, so we love to see how you make the most of your riding experience. Just another reason to send us your pictures! Check out this photo rider Melody Lynn Anderson sent us on Facebook of her and some friends at MMP. This is just one example of some great pictures and videos we have gotten from our riders. Keep ’em coming!
We also love seeing pictures of our riders because we miss the MMP community. We are still excited about this great opportunity, but we can’t wait for our riders to be back in the park. Pictures are a great way to keep the Moto Mountain Park community active during our temporary closing. We have just under 4 weeks left until we reopen, so in the meantime – you guessed it – send some pictures our way!
We love the great community of people that visit and support Moto Mountain Park. Pictures are a great way to keep memories alive. Don’t forget to like our Facebook page and tag us in yours. We’ll see you back in the park soon!
Advice from an experienced rider can be really helpful to a rider that is just starting out and is new to the trails. We have experts here at Moto Mountain Park, but we also have loyal riders who know the ins and outs of riding like the back of their hand. It can be overwhelming if you are new to riding ATVs. You have to decide if you are buying or renting an ATV, get the right safety gear, learn the basics, and much more. Take advantage of our regular riders and ask them questions!
Speaking to our experienced riders, what is the best piece of advice about riding you have been given? Does it have to do with what kind of safety gear to get? Maybe it is a tip for handling your ride smoothly and without any incidents. Whatever advice has helped you become a confident rider, we want you to share it. If you haven’t already, like our Facebook page. Then you can comment on other rider’s questions or start a post of your own. We love to hear from our riders, especially when they have tips to share.
If you are someone who is looking for tips on how to start your journey to being an experienced ATV rider, don’t stress. Between the professionals at MMP and the community of riders we have you are sure to find some great ideas. We wanted to remind anyone looking for help, to always do some research. You should also take into account that there are different opinions out there. However, one thing that should be consistent is what safety gear you need to ride. Of course, there are different styles and brands, but the basics are the same.
If you have questions or need advice, especially about safety gear, don’t hesitate to ask. Post on our Facebook page or call us at 706-337-5590. We can’t wait to see you out on the trails!
Mudders Magazine is the keyword for the announcement that we have been keeping under wraps for several weeks now – but we think it’s time to share the news with you all. Mudders Magazine will be visiting Moto Mountain Park in August and featuring us in their magazine afterwards. We are very excited about this awesome opportunity! We are really looking forward to meeting the magazine staff and showing them all that we have to offer here at MMP. We are also excited for the chance to be featured in their magazine, and to let a whole new group of riders know about us.
One of the reasons we wanted to share this great news with everyone is that this would not be possible without our community of riders, visitors, and loyal fans. We have a great community of people who continue to visit MMP and share their experiences with friends and family. We are very thankful for the great group of people who post to our Facebook page. We love seeing posts, pictures, and getting comments/questions from riders. The people who share their MMP experience with others and encourage them to check us our really make a difference in the MMP community. As always, once we have more details about the Mudders Magazine visit to Moto Mountain Park, we will let our readers know. Keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter, and blog for updates.
Thank you again for all you, our riders, have done in promoting and growing Moto Mountain Park. We owe much of our growing success to you all. We love to community of people at MMP and can’t wait to watch it grow.
The Fourth of July is one of those holidays that almost everyone just seems to love. If you’re one of those people who love to get swept up in this patriotic holiday, we have to say we agree with your thinking. This special day represents our freedom as a country and all the liberties and rights that came along with that day. Between the overwhelming feeling of patriotism, hot weather that is perfect for spending time outside and the feeling of thankfulness for those who defend our freedom, there is just so much to enjoy. One particularly excellent way to celebrate the Fourth of July is to come out to Moto Mountain Park and spend the day with us!
The weather this Fourth of July is expected to be in the 90’s with some light clouds. That is what we consider to be a perfect day for some trail riding. It is bound to be hot, so a little cloud coverage will help cool things down. Another great way to beat the heat is to head inside to Moto Bob’s and have some lunch before hitting the trails again. No matter what your favorite thing about Moto Mountain Park is, enjoying it on this patriotic holiday is sure to make it even better.
In the middle of preparation for the weekend, we want to take the time to thank everyone who has served or is currently serving our country. We are able to maintain the freedom we gained in 1776 because of the brave actions of all the military branches. All of us here at Moto Mountain are truly grateful to you for your service.
We hope to see you out on the trails this Fourth of July. Don’t hesitate to call us and let us know how we can help make this weekend awesome. See y’all soon!
Jeep riding on Fridays – has a nice ring to it doesn’t it? If getting some time on the trails in your Jeep sounds like the perfect way to spend a Friday, you’re in luck. Starting soon we will be closing the trails on the first Friday of every month and opening them up to Jeeps only. The price will be $35 + tax to ride. If it rains on the first Friday of the month, we’ll move the Jeep riding to the second Friday. Of course, no one can predict Mother Nature with 100% accuracy, so if there is a change we will let everyone know as soon as possible.
One of the reasons we’ve decided to add some exclusive Jeep riding to MMP is safety. It’s easy enough to see that Jeeps are bigger than most other rides on the trails. By creating a day for Jeep riding, we are hoping to keep anyone not riding in a Jeep safe from a collision with a bigger vehicle. Another reason is the great sense of community being on the trail with similar riders can bring. If you own a Jeep we want you to have a great time tearing up the trails with other Jeep-lovers. For us it’s all about providing a great time for whatever your interests are!
It doesn’t matter if your Jeep has seen a few trails or is itching to get dirty for the first time – we want everyone to come out and have a great time. If you have questions about this awesome new activity coming soon, please feel free to call us at 706-337-5590 and ask away. We are very excited to bring some Jeep riding fun to MMP, and can’t wait to see all the trail riding fun everyone is going to have! We will be posting the start date of the Jeep riding soon, so stay tuned.
“Safety first” is always the top priority we have at Moto Mountain Park. We want everyone who visits us to have a great time riding the trails, staying in Sky Cabins, camping and everything else we have to offer. We also want to make sure you get the most out of your Moto Mountain Park experience, so we aim to be open 365 days a year. Of course there are always exceptions and emergencies, so there are a few days every year that we are closed.
One of the reasons we close for a day or two in the summer is heat. When the temperatures are expected to climb way up there and the humidity will seem suffocating, we will close up for the day. A recent example is last Wednesday. We knew it would be extremely hot, so to keep riders safe we closed for the day. Monitoring heat is important to keeping safety first on our priority list. If we kept our trails and other activities open on extremely hot days, riders would run the risk of potential dehydration, heat stroke, or other heat-related issues. It may seem like an unnecessary precaution, but to us putting our riders safety first and preventing as much danger as we can is most important. (Not to mention it just gets plain miserable here in Georgia when it gets extremely hot and muggy).
When it comes to safety first, we follow the old adage of “better safe than sorry”. Can you tell we are big on safety yet? If we are closing the park we will notify you through our website home page, Facebook, and Twitter. You are also welcome to call us at 706-337-5590 if you have any questions. We look forward to continuing this safe and fun summer with everyone!
Renting Sky Cabins is something Moto Mountain Park visitors have always enjoyed. Day time at Moto Mountain Park is great, between riding trails, taking a trip to the mud bog and enjoying the zip line. The only way to top a day at Moto Mountain is to stay the night in one of our Sky Cabins. Renters get to relax in our cozy cabins and soak up all the beauty that is North Georgia at night. That sure sounds great to us!
Whether you are an old pro at renting Sky Cabins or are considering staying with us for the first time, here is a brief overview of our policies and details for rentals. The price to rent one cabin is $129.95 per night with a $50 deposit. To rent both cabins is $200 per night. The occupancy for the cabins is 4 people. You can also pay $25 for each additional person. Pets are currently not allowed. To make reservations call 706-337-5590 between 8am and 2pm Monday-Friday. Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to check in. Of course, we are always willing to answer your questions when it comes to renting Sky Cabins, so don’t hesitate to call us and ask!
We also have an exciting bit of information to announce coming up in the month of August. We won’t let the details out just yet but we are looking forward to sharing this news with you. We can tell you that it is loyal riders like you who have helped get us to this point and make something like this possible, so we thank you for that!
Make renting Sky Cabins part of your summer memories for this year. Call us today for more information. And don’t forget to be on the lookout for our special announcement later in the summer.
Park maintenance has been our focus the past couple of weeks and Moto Mountain has never looked better. The trails are groomed and they are looking great. If you’re big fan of hitting the trails then this is great news for you. It is certainly hard to beat a ride on a freshly groomed trail – at least from our perspective at MMP. We have such a great team here at Moto Mountain Park and they have worked so hard to maintain the park and make it look awesome. It takes a lot of dedication and effort to make sure the trails are in prime riding condition and we definitely appreciate everyone’s patience as we get the trails in great shape.
Park maintenance is just one piece of the puzzle when it comes to running an ATV park. It is also important to us that we know what our customers want and do our best to bring it to MMP. One way to help us continue to improve is by interacting with us. One of the best ways is to like our Facebook page, comment on other posts, and add your own. We are all about keeping our riders and visitors happy, so let us know what you’d like to see next!
We hope you guys are looking forward to a great summer at Moto Mountain Park, because we sure are. We are pleased to say, again, that the park is looking great and ready for riders to come hit up the trails. Contact us today at 706-337-5590 and let us know if you have any questions or need more information about the park. Thank you again to our loyal riders and our awesome team of people keeping up with park maintenance to keep MMP looking great!
Summer plans may be on your mind if you have some free time during the next few months. Although it has been warm for the past few weeks and stays hot through August, most would consider June and July the main summer months. Even though the weather is right in August, school starting back up can make it hard to find time for fun if you have kids. Take advantage of the next couple of months by making summer plans that create memories that last well into fall and winter. One way to do that is to make a trip up to Moto Mountain Park.
The great thing about Moto Mountain Park during the summer (and all year round) is that no matter what weather we’re experiencing, there is always something fun to do. Caught in the park during a downpour? Head over to Moto Bobs to wait out the storm while staying dry. Before you can even finish a plate of our delicious food the sun will most likely be back and drying out the trails – remember, this is Georgia weather we’re talking about. Summer plans don’t have to be complicated, which is why spending a weekend or a whole week with us is a great idea. You can rent ATVs from us, so riding is as easy as paying the fees, strapping on safety equipment and hitting the trails. No need to worry about bringing an ATV with you, just call us for more information about our rentals and to make sure they’re ready for you!
Summer plans are great to think about in advance, but if you suddenly just have the urge to hop in the car and head on over, we like the way you think. Sometimes spontaneous days can end up being the most fun. Let us be a part of your summer plans and come on up this weekend!
